I started this portrait a while ago and got busy building this site and it sat on the back burner for over a month, and I will eventually get to finish it.
I can’t remember my palette but i will refresh my memory! A Video on how I mixed flesh tones for this painting. Here is a Playlist of six videos I filmed painting this portrait. i didn’t start filming from the beginning but I’m sure these will be helpful.

Such amazing work Naomi. It was so wonderful of you to do the video for the group on YouTube. It was very helpful. I was wondering how you get such an accurate image onto your canvas? Forgive me if this was part of the video series you did, it’s been a while since I watched them. You’re a master at this portrait painting. ?

Thank you so much, Connie! I started filming this series halfway through my painting. In my next tutorial i’ll be sure to film it from the beginning. Begin by drawing your image on paper and then transfer to your canvas. You could use a proportional divider for accurate measurements. My hubby is going to make some new proportional dividers for me and I’ll be sure to demonstrate how!
