Many artists like to paint landscapes for many different reasons; nostalgia, beauty, the want to be there. all are valid reasons. I paint them because I feel I can create an emotional bond with my viewers and thus communicate ideas or feelings to them. I do this best with light. Light is the reason for the season!!
